These scammers never pick up when you call back. Total waste of time.

I got a call from someone saying they were with "network security." They started speaking right over my wife, who then passed the phone to me. When I answered, she just asked, "Who are you?" I told her, and she replied, "No, you called us, so who are you?" After a load of rubbish I couldn't understand, I just said, "You're a scammer, stop wasting my time," and hung up.

I told them I wasn’t interested, but they kept ringing and then started shouting, telling me I had to listen. They’re really pushy and it’s happened before. Honestly, their behaviour feels like proper harassment.

Got a strange call from a woman who kept ringing me back - three times in total - claiming my computer was hacked. I told her I didn’t buy it, and then she finally gave up.

Got a call from a guy with a foreign accent claiming to be from Windows support. I just hung up straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Windows support, telling me they spotted dodgy activity on my PC. I didn’t buy it and called them out on it. If you want, you can report the scammers at wavecrest.com/complaints - there’s a form to fill in for Action Fraud too, and apparently they work with them directly.

Kept ringing a few times, like three actually. The person said they were from Windows tech support. Pretty clear it was a scam.

Just about midday, got a phone call from someone saying his name was Peter, talking about something to do with Windows. My missus answered and told him we have this call screening system set up, that asks callers if they're "Friend or Family". They need to punch in a code if they want through. Since he wasn’t either, he wasn’t allowed to get through. We only set up the call blocker a few weeks back, and this was the very first dodgy call to come through since then.

I didn't pick up when an unfamiliar number called, and they never left a voicemail. If they ring again without leaving a message, I'll just ignore it since it’s probably a scam.

Got a call from a woman, not once but twice! After I hung up, she rang straight back and asked if I’d ended the call. Honestly, she was quite pushy, almost felt a bit intimidating.

Got two calls less than a minute apart from someone saying they were with 'Network Security Services'. I mentioned I've done IT work for over fifty years, so she wouldn’t get one over on me. She hung up pretty quickly after that. It's only been a few minutes since, but I’m not holding my breath...

I got a call from a woman claiming to be from RING support, very cheeky and rude. She was asking about a computer I don’t even have. When I told her it sounded like a scam, she just ended the call straight away! What a waste of time.

Got a call claiming my computer was hacked, and they rang me three times within five minutes! Even after telling them to stop because they’re obviously scammers, they kept going. Had to block their number in the end.

My phone started ringing and when I picked up, I left the speaker on. I could hear loads of voices in the back, sounds like they were speaking some other language, with men and women chatting. They seemed pretty unfocused, and then suddenly they just cut the call. Pretty sure it was a scam.
