Today, whilst out for a stroll with my dog, I received a rather peculiar call on my mobile from a gentleman with an intriguing offer. He mentioned that the government is embarking on a project to update homes in my area, suggesting I was eligible for some shiny new insulation. However, having come across a fair few scams relating to similar schemes, I decided to decline his offer politely. I promptly ended the call and took the sensible step of blocking his number straight away.
