I got a call from 01444248456 around 10:28am on 24/08/2024 claiming to be from Virgin Media about my internet. When I asked 'what's this regarding?', they just hung up. Weird because that number’s actually a BT one, and wouldn’t Virgin Media use their own lines? Seems dodgy to me, probably a scam. I’m also on the telephone preference list, so shouldn’t be getting these calls anyway. Watch out, this might be a SCAM!
