I ignored this call from an unfamiliar number on my mobile. Didn't recognize it at all.

This number is completely unfamiliar to me. I couldn’t catch much of what the caller tried to say. It seemed like a bloke was repeating the same few words over and over, but his speech was really odd, almost like he had some kind of speech problem or maybe a stroke? On the other hand, he might have been drunk or something. I might be totally off here, but that’s definitely how it came across. Anyway, the call ended abruptly after that.

Sorry if I’m way off, that’s just how it came across to me. Then they just hung up.

This number is totally unknown to me. I couldn't make out much of what the bloke was saying - just a few words repeated over and over. It gave me the impression he might have had some kind of stroke or maybe a disability affecting his speech? Then again, it’s possible he was under the influence of something like booze or drugs. Really sorry if I’ve misjudged the situation, but that’s the way it came across. After that, the caller just hung up.
