They start off by saying they’re calling with urgent news from the hospital. When you question them, they just go quiet and stop responding! 😡😡😡 The caller was a lady with an accent, which isn’t really how I wanted to describe it!

AVOID THIS NUMBER LIKE THE PLAGUE! Some bloke said he was John Rozario from Microsoft with an ID like M_SE1990. He went and locked my computer with a password, so now I can't even get in. I’ve rung that number loads of times and spoke to folks named CiaraSmith, Michael Roy, Ed Jason, and Amanda. My PC is completely blocked, and I’m stuck with it. Seriously, don’t trust this number - it’s got nothing to do with Microsoft, Reading.

I’ve set my phone to only allow calls from numbers saved in my contacts. There’s this feature that asks callers to verify themselves before leaving a voicemail. Since no message was left, it’s likely just some scam or nuisance call. I’ve labelled the number as unknown because I never got a chance to talk to anyone or hear anything. Best to just ignore it.

Got a call from some dodgy bloke pretending to be from Microsoft, saying there was something wrong with my PC. I ended up chatting away for about 15 minutes, just messing him about - felt pretty good wasting his time! These kinds of annoying calls really grind my gears, and honestly, I can’t wait for them to be blocked for good.

Got a call supposedly from Microsoft saying there was something wrong with my laptop and they wanted bank details to help speed it up. Total scam! I just ended the call straight away. It’s always these calls from people with thick accents, usually from India, which makes it even more suspicious. Just the other week, I got another one about an appliance warranty refund of £199 - all they wanted was my bank info. Such a dodgy trick! I hung up immediately, though they did keep ringing back a few times. Absolutely no trust in these lot.

Got a call today just after 1pm from someone named 'Peter' who sounded really dodgy with a thick Indian accent. He said he was from Microsoft and asked if I was the main user of my PC. I gave a vague answer and asked where he was calling from. He said 'Reading,' but that's clearly not true - Reading numbers start with 0118, and this one began with 0144, which is actually Haywards Heath. Most likely, the whole number was faked. I just let him keep talking until he gave up and hung up. Definitely a scam.

Got a call about 10 mins ago from a woman with an Asian accent asking if I was Mr something. She got the name right but the number didn’t feel right, looked dodgy. I’ve had calls like these before and I just deny knowing the name they mention. Usually, they just hang up when they realise I’m not who they thought. Honestly, don't bother chatting with them - just check the incoming number and if it’s unfamiliar, don’t pick up.
