Got a call at 11:16 this morning. When I answered, they asked if I was Mrs ...... I asked who it was, and then they just hung up on me.

This is my number, though lately some telemarketers have copied it and been giving out cold calls under my name. I never make those kinds of calls myself, so if you’re not trying to get in touch with Safeglove High Voltage Testing, please don’t call here again. Apologies if I caused any hassle - you’re definitely not the only one affected by this.

Got a call today from someone in India who said they weren’t trying to sell me anything. I told him thanks for giving me another number to block and then he just cut me off. Classic.

Got a call today from a man with a foreign accent. He asked if I was Mr #####, which is actually my name. Knowing about these YES SCAMS, I asked who was calling and he just hung up straight away.

Classic dodgy phone call! He said, “I’m not here to sell you anything,” but as soon as I mentioned he’d got the house number and postcode wrong, he didn’t hang about. I even gave him a different house number and said I wasn’t sure about the postcode, and then he just cut off! Seems to me he was either peddling something or fishing for my details.

Twice today I got a call, same story - a long pause when I pick up, then they ask, "Is this Mr F...?" I just ended the call straight away.
