Someone rang me saying they were from BT Openreach, claiming there was an issue with my internet, even though everything's been fine on my end. When I asked a few questions, the person got really nasty and hostile. By the end, they threatened to cut off my internet and said it would cost me £92,000 to sort out. Pretty certain it wasn’t the real BT.

I got on the phone with my 90-year-old mum, and since she was struggling to catch what they said, the caller started swearing and being really nasty.
