Got a call from someone called ‘Tom’ speaking with a really thick Asian accent, said he was from Pontypridd, Wales. He started asking if I owned my house - I told him no, but really I rent from the council. He then asked my age, and I said 31 even though I’m actually 45. Strange questions followed, like what brand my washing machine is and who provides my utilities. Then out of nowhere, he recited my full address and my mobile number. I stopped him right there and asked how he got that info, but he just hung up on me. Bit suspicious, not sure what his game was. Watch out!

Looks like an automatic dialler to me - when I picked up, there was just silence.

Got a call from someone claiming to do a housing survey, but it felt off and definitely seemed like a scam. Be careful if you get one too!
