Someone phoned saying they were from BT and mentioned a broadband issue I'd reported before. It didn’t take long to suss out he was trying to scam me, especially when he started saying that the errors in the Windows event viewer were actually viruses and that clicking on them would unleash malware. I told him straight up I wasn’t fooled and that he wasn’t with BT, and he hung up on me.
