I just got one of those scam calls with an automated message claiming to be from ‘Bank Security’. They said there was a transaction on my account from Amazon for over £1000 to some unknown person. The number was from my local area code, so I nearly fell for it. I rang my Pontypridd branch and they confirmed it definitely wasn’t them. Been getting these same calls for a while now!
