I answered the phone but nobody said a word. Decided it’s best to block it just in case.

I saw the call came from overseas. Since I don’t get calls from abroad and don’t know anyone there, I just went ahead and blocked the number.

I answered the phone but went straight to voicemail so they ended the call. Used 1471 to check the number and sure enough, it was a scam. Looks like I just avoided getting scammed by whoever this was.

Just got a call from someone pretending to be from Amazon, trying to scam me with some criminal fraud nonsense. Be careful, it’s definitely a scam!

Some bloke called me from 01443474639 claiming he was from Amazon about an order I supposedly made. I told him I don't even shop on Amazon and he immediately started swearing and shouting at me. I just hung up straight away. Not only a scam but also a proper rude person!
