I got a call that showed a post office in Wales on my screen, and some bloke with an Indian accent said his name was Barry - like seriously, who even falls for that? He was trying to chat to me about my bill, obviously a dodgy scam to take advantage of folks. I have no accounts or anything with them, so I just blocked the number and reported it. Do not share your info with these scammers, they’re just out to trick innocent people.

Got a call claiming to be from some sort of bank fraud team, but they never said which bank or even the name of who they wanted. They went on about two firms, one international firm and a money transfer service, saying those were linked to suspicious activity I supposedly made. Then they said I could press one button to clear the charges or another to speak to someone. That’s when I ended the call and decided to look up the number to be safe.
