Got a call from +44 1442 767887, some Indian lady claiming to be from Vodafone. I asked what the call was about but she was super slow to answer, so I just hung up. Looked up the number on Google and turns out it’s actually a kebab shop in Hemel Hempstead. I’ve seen plenty of numbers I’ve looked up linked to random shops and businesses around the UK. Has anyone else spotted this? Are scammers now using the actual numbers of legit businesses?
