I had a rather suspicious call earlier today from this number, claiming to be associated with NHS Professionals. The caller mentioned they’d come across my CV on the Reed Job website. They pitched a role for a Program Manager, which, to be honest, is completely outside my wheelhouse. It’s clearly a fraudulent call. Just before 9am on the 9th of March 2022, I got a call from a man with an Asian accent. The number showed Hemel Hempstead, a place I don’t know anyone in, so I let it go to voicemail. In the message, he mentioned something about me applying for a job with the NHS, which was true, so it threw me off a bit. He told me to call back if I was still interested and that he’d send me an email too. The bloke sounded dead bored and very robotic, wrapping up with a really flat “have a nice day”. Of course, no email turned up within the next half hour. Not surprised at all!

Following up on what I mentioned before, I looked into it a bit and it seems to be Ashvinkumar Sindhva, who’s a recruiter for NHS Professionals, or someone from his crew ringing me up from Hemel Hempstead, England. I’m based in the central Midlands though, and because of some ongoing health issues and other personal stuff, I’m not keen on commuting that far. The only way I can guess they found my number is from some job sites I’ve signed up to, probably from teams trying to place me in local roles.
