3 yearsI receive a daily call from this number, yet they never bother to leave a voicemail. Quite puzzling, isn't it?3 yearsI received a call from a chap claiming to represent Amazon, insisting he was inquiring about an iPhone 14 Pro Max purchase that I supposedly made. He sent me a verification code and wanted me to read it back to him. I outrightly declined and decided to block the number on the spot, as there’s no way I've ordered anything like that. It was clear as day he was attempting to pull a fast one on me.Amazon4 yearsGot a call from a bloke claiming to be from Amazon about some iPhone I supposedly ordered. Asked me to confirm if I made the order. Told him no and just ended the call. I haven’t bought any iPhone and there’s nothing showing up on my account.Amazon4 yearsI received a call today from someone claiming that my Amazon account had been compromised and that an iPhone charger was ordered under my name. They mentioned that they would send me a one-time passcode via text to verify something, but I hung up before they explained what to do with it. Now I’ve received three separate texts purporting to be from ‘Amazon’ with those OTP codes and alarming messages about alleged ‘attempts’ to access my data, urging me to click on a link. It all seems rather dodgy!Amazon4 yearsI got a call from a bloke with a weird accent who said his name was Henry and that he was ringing from Amazon. He told me there was an order for an iPhone 11 and asked if I wanted to go ahead with it or cancel it. I said I hadn’t bought anything, which he seemed to expect, then asked if I was Mr Ornar. After that, he told me he’d sent a verification code to my phone and asked me to read it out. I knew right away it was a scam and he probably wanted to get access to my account. Seriously, don’t ever give your card details or codes to anyone on the phone.HenryAmazonOrnarSubmit Your Own Report (01442 879521)
