Got a call asking for £600 on my Visa, just like others said - sounded like a total scam. I ended the call straight away and blocked the number.

Got a call about a £600 visa scam, where they told me to press 1 to get tricked. I’ve reported it to Action Fraud. Honestly, every scam call should be sent to the police and shared here so more people get warned. That’s the only way we’ll ever put an end to these scammers.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from a local UK landline, but it was actually an overseas scammer fiddling with the number. They do this because they reckon folks will pick up if it looks like a British number. Total rubbish though. Best thing is not to pick up, just hang up straight away or block the number if you can.
