Never reply if they claim to be from Amazon, it’s usually a scam. They often try to trick you into giving personal info. Best thing is just to hang up straight away and not engage at all. Lots of people have been caught out by this sort of thing before, so stay on your guard!

Cheers for confirming what I thought about these calls, they’re definitely not legit. They keep ringing me up daily for weeks now. I was pretty sure it was a scam but wasn’t sure how to handle it. I haven’t given away any of my details though because the calls feel really convincing. The person sounds American and could easily pretend to be someone from Amazon. It’s really dodgy.

Got a call earlier pretending to be from Amazon, warning me about a £29 charge coming through. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to speak to someone about it. Quite suspicious if you ask me.
