I got a call from someone who claimed to be from ‘compare the network’, but it was definitely coming from abroad. The person barely spoke English and was pushing me to get a new phone deal or an upgrade. Seemed dodgy to me.

Got a ring from some Indian call centre, total scams going on with loads of different numbers. I've put them on block and sent a report over to Action Fraud.

It kept ringing and was really annoying. I ended the call at first, but then I dialled back since it seemed like a home phone number. There was nobody on the other end, only an automated voice saying “welcome to compare the networks dot com.” I quickly hung up, then blocked the number and removed it from my call log.
