Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, saying I was in big trouble for not paying taxes and involved in fraud - that I needed to go to court straight away. Honestly, it was pretty scary if you didn’t realise it was fake. The bloke asked if I was Sharon Sterling, which I’m not, but I just said yes to see what he’d say next. Ended up telling him a few choice words before hanging up. Total scammer!

Had a caller the other day pretending to be from the tax office, said they were from revenue and customs. Sounded a bit dodgy to me, so I didn’t trust it. Pretty sure it's just a scam trying to scare you. Watch out for these sorts of calls!
