This morning was quite the ordeal! I had a total of five calls from an extremely confrontational chap claiming to be from Microsoft, telling me my computer was under attack. He had a thick Indian accent and was quite insistent that I turn on my computer. I firmly informed him that I wouldn’t be doing that, but each time I hung up, he promptly rang back. His language was appalling; he even went so far as to call me a terrorist and accused my husband of being affiliated with Isis! I've reported the nonsense to the police, but naturally, his number is blocked from view. He went by the name of Charlie Belford.

I received a rather unsettling phone call from 01442780120, with someone claiming to be Isaac Olstn from Microsoft. He provided me with an employee ID and even a physical address, which caught me off guard. However, when I declined to switch on my computer, he became rather hostile, which was quite alarming. I have a strong suspicion that this was a scam call; despite his seemingly impressive knowledge, I felt that it was all a ruse to mislead vulnerable individuals into believing he was legitimate. - Caller: apparently Isaac Olstn from Microsoft's tech support division.

Just had a rather dodgy phone conversation with some bloke claiming to be from Microsoft, saying my computer’s been compromised. When I asked for his name and identification number, he slickly handed both over (his name was Franklin Foster, if you can believe it) and claimed he was stationed at Thames Valley Park in Reading. He then instructed me to power up my computer. After I pretended to fumble around and couldn’t access what he needed, he requested that I install a file-sharing app so he could take control of my machine. At that moment, I felt it was only right to mention that my daughter works in Microsoft's anti-fraud team. Unsurprisingly, the call wrapped up swiftly after that. He left me with a parting line suggesting I confirm things with her before proceeding if I had any reservations. I do wonder if he'll ring back as he said he would! - caller: 01442780120

I received a rather peculiar call from an individual claiming to be from Microsoft, who happened to have a distinctly Indian accent. He insisted that I urgently needed to surrender my computer to prevent it from being hacked. I decided to hang up, only for him to ring me back immediately, chastising me for being discourteous. He introduced himself as Charlie Brown, and provided a number-01442 780120-for me to verify his identity. However, that number appears to lead nowhere. Curiously enough, the very next day when I attempted to power up my laptop, it was non-responsive despite being fully charged. This man was not only aggressive but utterly disrespectful throughout the conversation. - caller: Charlie
