Just like many others, I've got these automated calls from someone pretending to be from my internet provider. I've lost count how many times they've bothered me. The only thing that’s different is the number they show, but that’s just fake - they use some kind of programme to flash a local UK number. Actually, they’re probably calling all the way from India. Totally dodgy! If you've ever had trouble with your ISP, you know it's a nightmare trying to get through to the real company, and they would never ring you out of the blue like that. Avoid these scammers!

I received a voice message from an answering machine, claiming that my internet connection is on the verge of being terminated. It mentioned an issue related to my IP address or something along those lines. Quite puzzling, I must say!

i got a call from a woman who said her name was shirley and she claimed to be from my internet provider but never said which one. felt like a scam to me so i just ended the call.

I got another call from a robot named Shirley saying my IP was hacked and my internet would be cut off in 24 hours. Honestly, it’s so frustrating getting these bogus calls all the time!
