Someone rang me claiming to be from Visa, saying I had two dodgy charges on my card - one for £14.99 from Amazon and another for £749 through Western Union. They told me to press 1 if I didn’t recognise them. I just hung up straight away and checked my card activity myself, and none of those payments were there. I reckon it was a scam. They used a local number, which is probably why I picked up in the first place.
