However, upon posing a few questions, it became glaringly evident they were not affiliated with BT at all, as they seemed completely clueless about my account details. After pressing them a bit, they finally admitted they were part of an outfit called "Premier." I’m left puzzled about their intentions and wondering if BT even permits other firms to exploit situations like this.
