I got a call from 01440788533 early this morning, like around 6.39am. I hurried to pick up, fearing some bad news but when I answered, there was nobody there. Honestly, if someone had actually spoken to me, they’d have got an earful! So glad no one was actually on the line.

This morning at 6.39, I got a call from this number and jumped to pick it up, thinking it might be some bad news. But when I answered, there was just silence on the line. Honestly, if someone had actually spoken, they’d have caught a right telling off from me!

Absolutely unnerving, to say the least. An Indian woman rang me at around 6 in the morning and subsequently bombarded me with three more calls. Normally, these types hang up promptly when you call them out as fraudsters, but this crew persisted, even bringing in their so-called "technician" to elaborate on their so-called issue. I suggested I’d simply take my computer to a genuine expert, but they insisted he wouldn't find anything amiss. My husband, wanting clarification from the "technician", asked for a step-by-step rundown so we could sort it out later, yet they insisted we fire up the computer immediately. Eventually, we told them to stop calling and ended the conversation. It was quite chilling to think we could be at risk of losing our computer and precious data. So grateful for this site, as it’s such a comfort to know we’re not facing this alone. These con artists seem to be getting craftier with every passing day!

Having a BT8500 phone from t#### is a real blessing. It automatically rejects calls from scam people like these, which is a relief. I can see from my call history they've been trying, but at least I don't have to worry about picking up and dealing with their nonsense. After reading about all the horror stories here, it’s nice feeling a bit safer. If I ever did pick up, I’d probably give them a mouthful of swear words, honestly :-(

This morning, I received a call from a woman who appeared to have an Indian accent. I suspected it was one of those common scams. She claimed to be calling from London regarding Windows issues. I decided to turn the tables and asked her about the weather and her commute this morning-she was utterly stumped. After some back and forth, she mentioned her supposed location as 2 Kingdom Street in Paddington, London. At that point, she seemed to lose her cool when I called her out on the scam, raising her voice quite a bit. Curious, I looked up the address later, and indeed, it is a real place-a serviced office complex.

Got a call at six this morning, can you believe it? Completely startled us awake! With two elderly mums to look after, we always pick up, but when I saw the number, I thought better of it. Don’t these callers have any sense of timing? Who in their right mind would be keen to chat at that hour, scam or not?

This morning at 6:50, the phone rang. Given that we’re anxiously waiting for updates about a very ill friend, we absolutely cannot afford to overlook any calls. However, I didn’t recognise the number calling. How infuriating! Turns out it’s just another UK scam.

Bright and early at 6.50 this morning the phone went off, and we were waiting for some family to call with some not-so-great news. My wife picked up and I caught her grumbling, “go away, it’s far too early for this nonsense.” The voice on the other end sounded Indian, then the line just went dead. Now both of us are wide awake. Had a look on this site and sure enough, it’s those computer scam lot messing about again. Funny how in this day and age with all the fancy tech around, the fraud officers still seem powerless.

Early this morning around 7:35, I picked up a call that was really pushy and quite threatening. They kept saying they'd tried to reach me loads of times and told me to shut down my computer or else I'd catch a virus. I told them I don't even own a computer, but they just kept on with the same threat again and again.

Received a call at 8:56 this morning from a young lady with an Indian accent-completely disturbed my sleep! I couldn't make head nor tail of what she was on about, so I asked her to take me off whatever list she had. Then she had the cheek to suggest I turn on my computer, to which I firmly replied, 'No chance!' and promptly ended the call.

My elderly mum’s been getting phone calls since 6.30 this morning - three so far! It’s worrying that nothing seems to be done about these annoying callers. I usually get about three unwanted calls each day too, and just let them go to voicemail, but it’s still really frustrating having them constantly bother us. Honestly, something needs to be done about this! And now, there’s another one already - second call today, and it’s only been three hours!

So, today I got two calls, one around 9.15 and then another at 11.50. My phone showed the number as 01440788533 and sometimes it said International. I didn't pick up at first, but if they ring again, I’ll answer and see if they get what I mean when I speak “international.” Might even give them a little example, just for fun.

Can you believe they called me at half five in the morning? I told the bloke that the only windows we have are the double-glazed ones we peer through! He had the nerve to accuse me of lying! I played along for a bit, keeping the conversation going, and then pretended to read a message off my screen.
