My phone buzzed and when I picked up, some robot voice started saying my internet company had been trying to reach me but couldn’t get through. Then it said my connection would be cut off because of supposed illegal stuff, asking me to press 4 or something. I hung up straight away and rang my internet provider to check, but it turned out it wasn’t them at all.

my phone buzzed and when i picked up, some robot voice told me my internet company had been trying to reach me but couldn’t, and that my connection would be cut off in a day because of some illegal stuff, then asked me to press 4 or something. i ended the call and rang my actual internet provider, who said they never called me. tried dialing the number again but it just didn’t go through.
