I informed him that it wasn't a suitable time and that I wasn't keen on having anyone visit my house. Yet, he persisted, suggesting one appointment after another. I reiterated my lack of interest and my preference to keep my door closed to unexpected visitors. Undeterred, he launched into his sales pitch yet again and inquired when might be a more suitable time. I had to firmly express that I really didn’t want anyone coming over - I aimed to be polite, but I genuinely needed him to accept my refusal!
