Then he kept pushing, suggesting one appointment after another. I repeated that I wasn’t interested and didn’t want visits. He launched into his pitch again and asked when a good time would be. I had to be firm and said I really didn’t want anyone calling round, and to please just accept ‘no’ without me being rude.
