i've gotten a few calls supposedly from the carphone warehouse call centre, last one said it was based in leicester. i found that odd since the number had a stevenage area code. they tried a ‘security check’ asking for my full name, address, and dob - i ended up giving it to them and felt daft afterwards. the guy said he was calling to offer a lower call rate, not a phone upgrade. every time ive renewed my contract at the store, they gave me a new phone as well. so i told him i'd just pop into the shop instead.
