Got a call from someone offering government aid for my debts and loans. When I asked them to remove my number from their list, the guy said it couldn’t be done. I then asked to speak to the manager, but he claimed he was the boss and still refused to delete my information. I told him they’re keeping my data without permission and might be breaking GDPR rules (not sure if that’s exactly right). He warned me that if I hung up, he’d just ring me again straight away. I said that was harassment and warned I’d report it to the police if they called back. Definitely feels like a scam to me.
