Received a call from this number, but I've no clue who it might be! They didn’t leave a message either.

Received a phone call from someone purporting to offer assistance with various debts and loans thanks to some government scheme. When I requested that they remove my number from their database, the chap on the line insisted he couldn’t do that. I asked to speak to the manager, and he claimed to be the top dog, yet he still wouldn’t take my number off their list. I expressed that they were unlawfully retaining my personal information and referenced GDPR guidelines (though I’m not entirely certain about that). To add to the oddity, he threatened that if I disconnected the call, he'd ring me back immediately. I informed him that this felt very much like harassment, and should he dare to call again, I'd not hesitate to inform the authorities. It’s a definite scam in my book!
