Got two calls within a couple of hours from a call centre, could tell from the noise in the background. A bloke with a foreign accent asked for my husband, I said why are you ringing my number to talk to him? Then he just cut off. They called back a couple of hours later but it went to voicemail. I've just blocked the number now.

Received a call purportedly from Legal and General regarding a life insurance policy-one I actually don’t possess! The voice had quite the Indian accent. When I mentioned that I wasn’t comfortable discussing personal matters over the phone and suggested they send me a letter instead, he promptly hung up. Quite amusing, really!
