Someone rang me up saying they were verifying if I qualified for some sort of “newly raised government benefits” or whatever. What really creeped me out is they already had my name and address, and I never told them. They started asking if I owned the house, but I told them flat out that I don’t share personal details with strangers who call out of the blue. When she kept pushing with more questions like I was supposed to answer, I just hung up.
