Got a text on my phone saying my debit card had been used at the Apple Store online, and that I needed to call the number back to verify it was me.

Got a call with no sound at all, just silence on the other end. Bit creepy really.

I picked up and just said 'hello'. Then this guy, with an Italian name but talking in Italian with a kind of North African/Arab accent, straight away said I hadn’t told him my name. I told him anyone ringing me on this number already knows my name, so I’m not obligated to say it. He tried to pitch some financial offer, but I said I wasn’t interested. Still, he kept pushing for my name and said he'd ring me again. So I just switched my phone off.
