Got a call from 01437 468259 about loft insulation, and I swear it sounded like some sort of robot or AI. The person kept going even after I told them we don't have a loft. Then they said it didn’t matter if the loft was full of boxes or stuff, because they use a laser to measure everything and then give a quote. I asked if I was talking to a real person, but they just carried on without answering. They tried to set up an appointment, and when I said no, a woman’s voice came on, thanked me for my time and ended the call. Very strange!

"So often their first words are, 'Are you there, can you hear me?' Loads of scam calls begin like that. I just make a noise, don’t bother talking back - it seems their dodgy AI doesn’t get much from that. My network even flags these as 'Nuisance?' calls, but seriously, why isn’t anything being done about it? It’s ridiculous!"

Got a call from someone who said they were a local energy advisor. They chatted about loft insulation and government schemes, offering a free survey. Felt a bit iffy about it though.

Got a call today from some bloke called James claiming to be from Green Eco Centre down in SW London, trying to peddle spray foam insulation. Sounded like a total robo call to me, especially after reading about those in that ICO announcement from the 25th. Wouldn’t say much about the company, just kept pushing his sales pitch with a lot of dodgy info. Had to report it to the TPS and ICO - this was the second time he'd rung me today!

Got a call from someone saying they were O2. I told them it wasn’t a good moment, and they just cut off straight away. There was a long pause before they spoke, definitely spam.

Got a missed call but no voicemail left. When I rang back, it was some place called 'My Claim'. Lately, they’ve been ringing me on both my mobile and landline - always the same caller ID from Voxbone SA. Proper spam and really annoying!
