5 monthsGot this call from some overseas call centre, not from the UK though. When I picked up, it was one of those automated calls, so I just kept quiet and let it connect. They asked if I was Mr X (which is me, so they must have my details), but I didn't confirm, just asked what it was about. They said it was some kind of verification regarding mis sold car finance. I told them I wasn’t interested and promptly ended the call. Seems like a typical phishing attempt, especially since they guessed I’ve had car finance before. Maybe I have, maybe I haven’t, but I’m definitely not giving any personal info to random calls like this.
