I answered this call by mistake, the caller ID showed it as a spam number. The voice on the line was robotic and just said "Goodbye" before hanging up. I’m worried now that I might have flagged myself as active on this number somehow, depending on who they got it from. I’ll be checking all my online accounts linked to this number just to be sure.

Got a call from someone trying to sell me a new Apple phone for only £25 each month. When I asked if they needed my bank info, the person got really rude, started swearing, then just hung up on me!

Got a call saying they were from EE offering me a cheaper phone contract, asked for my email to send details. Then they wanted a verification code, claimed it was to ‘secure’ the offer. Turns out the email I got was for resetting my password! If I’d given them that code, they could’ve gotten into my EE account and probably bought new phones with it. The number appeared from Wales, but the voice was definitely Indian. Total scam!
