I received a phone call claiming they could reduce my EE bill. The funny thing is, I've not been an EE customer for quite a while now! When I informed the caller of this, they abruptly ended the conversation. Quite peculiar, isn't it?

Honestly, if people don’t bother to report these annoying scam calls, it kinda feels like they actually like getting them. It’s like they don’t care about everyone else and maybe even want those scam artists to pile up even more cash.

Had a rather peculiar phone call bright and early today, only for it to be cut off immediately. I can't seem to return the call, as the line is perpetually engaged. This all kicked off yesterday with a different number (which I've now blocked), 01437 634016, also from the same area. It's quite the nuisance!

I just received a rather dodgy call from someone claiming to be from 02, the mobile service provider. They had an Indian accent and said they were offering a whopping 40% discount on my bill. I thought, fantastic! But when I asked them to verify my name, the line went dead-beep, beep, and they hung up. Absolutely suspicious, if you ask me! I'd strongly advise everyone to steer clear of sharing any personal information with them. If they were truly from 02 and had a valid offer, they would surely know who they’re speaking to. So, when in doubt, just reply, "Can you tell me my name, please?” Keep your wits about you, everyone, and here's to a safe and fantastic 2024!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from 3 network. I just told them no and ended the call. Honestly, you can’t trust any calls these days. Could’ve been 3 for all I know, but probably a scam too.

This caller purports to be from Vodafone. However, when I requested that they ring me back on a different number-something they ought to have been aware of-they abruptly disconnected the call. Proceed with caution, as this is not a legitimate call from your network provider. It also appears to originate from a hosted business line. Take heed!
