I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from Microsoft - and she even used my first name! She said there was a security issue with my PC and asked me to switch it on and answer some questions to find some sort of number, maybe a serial number. When I hesitated, she threatened to lock my computer. I’m really sceptical about these calls - I can’t imagine Microsoft would ever ring you about security issues like that. Usually, if there’s a problem, you'd have to get in touch with them yourself. Definitely be cautious if you get calls like this!
