I traced the call back and found it was coming from an Indian call centre, which is famous for scamming people. They were faking a local address to trick me.

Got a call this morning about 10.22 from this number, some automated voice saying it was TalkTalk and that my internet would be disconnected because of fraud. It asked me to press 1 to talk to someone. I ended the call straight away. Since then, there have been three missed calls from numbers that looked pretty much the same.

Got a call with a recorded voice, sounded like some foreign accent, saying it was TalkTalk warning me my internet was about to be disconnected. I just ended the call straight away.

today i got two calls kinda weird. first was from 00414366777, then around 12:15pm another from 01436677755 which looked almost like the first number. the first one seemed to be from switzerland, and the second showed helensburgh. never got a voicemail or anything, just rang once then stopped. feels a bit odd to me?
