However, on the third attempt, I decided to pick up, only to be greeted with a query about life insurance. Interestingly, they feigned a mistake, claiming they were trying to reach someone else. When I pointed out that they had the wrong number, they casually mentioned, “Ah, I was hoping to discuss her life insurance. Perhaps this might interest you?” I quickly responded that I wasn’t keen on their offer and hung up promptly. I've since blocked the number.

Today I got a rather curious phone call about a life insurance policy that I’ve never subscribed to. The lady on the other end came across as quite charming and professional, wanting to chat about my supposed policy. At first, I thought it was just an innocent mix-up. However, when I explained that I didn’t have anything to discuss, her tone shifted drastically. She became quite pushy and not nearly as pleasant as she had been earlier. It’s left me wondering if there’s something dodgy going on here.
