I received a rather unnerving call earlier today; as soon as I answered, an automated voice informed me that my internet connection would be terminated within the next day or two. It prompted me to press 1 to connect with a so-called technical support representative. I'm pretty certain this is a dodgy scam, especially since I had a similar call just yesterday, albeit from another number. If you can avoid it, I’d suggest not answering, but if you inadvertently do, steer clear of pressing any buttons!
