Got a call with a recorded voice, sounded pretty real. I hit 1, pretending to be with BT (which I'm not), and then they just ended the call.

definitely not from bt. no internet company can tell if your connection is hacked unless you report an issue first. some person called saying my internet was hacked and asked me to press 1, i just ended the call and double checked with bt who confirmed it wasnt them. seems pretty risky so im labeling this as a scam.

Got a call about an hour ago but didn’t pick up. The way it rang sounded like some kind of robo-call, definitely seemed dodgy.

I got a call from someone acting like my phone line was compromised or something. They kept going on about how my number had been hacked, trying to scare me. Definitely felt like a fishy scam, didn’t trust them at all. Just hung up straight away.
