Picked up a call from this number earlier, but the lady on the other end was speaking with a heavy accent and I couldn’t make out a thing she said. Asked if someone who speaks English could talk to me instead, but she just hung up. Towards the end, I caught her mention “BBC”, but I’m sure it wasn’t the British Broadcasting Corporation - probably just a way to grab attention. She muttered what it meant, but honestly, it was all unclear.

I get calls on my mobile from this number, and if I hang up, it instantly rings my home phone, which is unlisted and on the TPS. I don’t pick up numbers I don’t recognise at all. On my caller ID, it always shows up starting with 00. They’ve called me loads of times and it’s always the same routine. It’s really frustrating, and if they’re so keen to reach me, why don’t they bother leaving a voicemail?
