Today just before noon, i got a call on my landline from someone saying they were from BT Openreach. The person told me there was an issue with my router caused by bad files since BT supposedly controls all the lines across the UK. He said his name was Dave Martin and the number he called from was 01435199335. The guy spoke with an Indian accent. To confirm it was legit, he said i could ring back on 01793596931. I decided to get in touch with BT myself, who advised me to share this info with my internet provider as well.
