Then he gave me some eco-sounding company name and claimed he was calling from the UK. I asked him which town he was in, and he weirdly said my own home town. So, I asked for his local exchange code to check, and suddenly he admitted he wasn’t actually in the UK. That’s when I told him I wasn’t going to waste any more time with someone who’d already lied straight to me.
