Got a call from someone saying they were with the Telephone Preference Service, telling me they’d put my call blocking back on for unwanted calls. I checked with the real TPS and they told me it’s a scam to try and get money out of me. They’ve also used the number 01159712456. Watch out!

Got a call from this number on Monday 11th June 2018 at 10:14, but my t#### call blocker picked it up. Since whoever it was refused to say their name, the blocker stopped the phone from ringing. From what I’ve seen with my call blocker, I don’t reckon they’ll try calling again.

This 01434680234 keeps calling me at the worst times, really annoying. Just today on 11/06/2018, I got calls from them at 7:30 in the morning, then again at 10:20, and once more at 10:55. Thought GDPR was supposed to help with this kinda stuff but obviously not. Each time I answered, there was nothing but silence, then just some random noise before they hung up. Total waste of time!

For the past five days, I've had the same thing happen - I pick up the phone and all I hear is dead silence. They've been ringing me like 3 or 4 times a day. I’ve finally reached out to Ofcom about it.

On Monday 11th June 2018 at around 10.14, my t#### call blocker picked up this number. Since the caller refused to say who they were, my blocker stopped the phone from ringing. From what I’ve seen with my blocker, I doubt they'll bother calling back again.

I've had a couple of calls already from a man with an Indian accent. He said something about my account being activated to prevent nuisance calls and block international numbers. Definitely seems dodgy to me.

On Saturday, the 9th of June 2018, my home phone was inundated with a staggering 12 calls from this number! Curious and slightly anxious, I attempted to return the call, presuming it might be something of importance, only to be met with a message declaring the number was non-existent! I’m absolutely fed up with these incessant calls, and I've found myself compelled to activate the ‘do not disturb’ mode on my landline. Thankfully, I've got an answering machine, so any legitimate callers can leave a message.

Today alone I've received more than ten calls from this firm. I only answered one call, told them I was deceased, yet they kept ringing me back. I've reported them to Ofcom and would urge others to do likewise. If Ofcom gets enough complaints, they might finally look into it.

Got a call just a few mins ago from someone claiming to be from the TPS here in the UK. They asked if we were still getting sales calls and said they could help sort it out. Then they wanted me to confirm my postcode, but I told them I'd just sign up again online and ended the call.

Had a bloke on the line claiming he’d be able to block all those annoying calls from the UK and overseas starting the next day, forever apparently. He then asked for my Visa Card info. I let Ricky know there’s a higher power watching and that if he’s trying to steal from me, he’s bound for a bad place. He didn’t argue much after that and just hung up!

I’ve been getting loads of calls from 01434680234, both times no one said a word. I think I’ll just let the ansaphone pick up from now on. It’s always some Asian number ringing me, asking if I’ve got a moment to chat. When I say no, usually pretty sharp, they don’t seem to take the hint. This number, from Hexham area code, popped up with an ad for bathrooms but also showed a separate advert for Uniquio. I’ve gotten quite a few calls from it, similar to what others have said here. One time, the caller just said goodbye and hung up. I’m gonna block the number and reckon others might wanna do the same.
