That caller seemed a bit sketchy! With a strong foreign accent, it was pretty clear he was phoning in from some call centre abroad. He inquired whether I was in need of a loan, to which I politely declined before hanging up.

Got called twice within just five minutes, bit annoying really.

About a year back I took out a quick loan from Moneybox247, so that's probably why they keep ringing me. But when they call asking if I want another loan, it just feels like desperation. If I needed cash, I’d sort it myself, not just wait for some “helpful” call like that! Payday lenders phoning previous clients with lines such as “we can lend you some cash till your next pay” should honestly face big fines. It’s easy to see how vulnerable folks struggling with money get exploited by these sorts of outfits.
