Just got a call from what looked like a local number but it turned out to be a scam. There was a robotic voice saying there were two transactions on my card, one was Amazon and the other some overseas payment site, together making up about £1400. The message told me to press 1 or 2 if I wanted to stop the charges or chat with customer service. Sounded dodgy to me.
