Picked up the phone but there was silence, no one said a word. I left it open for about a minute but still nothing, just quiet on the other end.

I got a call from a bloke claiming to be from BT, saying our internet router was acting up with loads of activity and might need swapping out. He wanted to find out how many devices we had hooked up. When I said we don’t even use any computers here, he just hung up. Pretty clear to me that it was a dodgy scam!

Got a call from a woman with an overseas accent claiming she was calling from BT regarding my internet. She threw at me a dodgy account number which didn't seem legit at all. Pretty sure it was some sort of scam. I’ve now added the number to my 1572 block list so I won’t get bothered by it again.
