The number was unknown to me so I didn’t pick up. I really appreciate having caller ID for this kind of situation. If it had been a genuine call, they would have left a voicemail explaining who they are and what they wanted. Since there was no message at all, I’m pretty sure it was some kind of SCAM.

Got a call from 08.29 on May 15th. Didn’t know the number so I just let it ring to voicemail. They ended up hanging up without saying anything. I’ve blocked it since.

Typical rubbish again, I ignored the call. It was just another scam trying its luck. Despite being on the telephone preference service, they just keep coming. I even have anonymous call blocking switched on... that's probably why they ring from a 'familiar number', so they can get past the block, which we pay BT to provide. I always let my answerphone pick up. If it's something important, folks usually leave a message or I know who they are. Tried blocking numbers before but they just keep swapping them, and my phone can't hold more than 100 blocked ones anyway. I hit that limit quite a while back!

We got a call on 7th May around 4.23pm, which wasn’t the first time either. The number’s not familiar to us, so we just let it ring off to voicemail, but the person calling just ends the call without leaving any message. Seems pretty impolite if you ask me! I’m guessing this might be one of those spoofed numbers trying to pull a scam if you happen to pick up.

I got a call today from 01434 290352, and before this they were using numbers ending in 53 or 55, but it's clearly the same call centre behind it. Honestly, whoever is giving scammers loads of different phone numbers should be just as responsible as the scammers. And what's the point in reporting to TPS if no message is left and you don't speak to anyone? They want info about the caller, which you dont have. So it feels pretty useless to me.

This week alone I’ve had three calls from Bellingham, each with a different number ending in 287, 354, and now 352. Yesterday they rang from a dodgy mobile number too, 0754970432. Apparently "Chris the local energy advisor" has been ringing from all sorts of places around the UK. Bit sus if you ask me (and I’m more of a curry person!). Best to just ignore these lot - total waste of time and proper annoying!

Do you really think someone from the government or any legit firm working for them would ring a number that's on the TPS list without being asked? Not a chance.
