I got a call about some government energy grant or whatever, but they asked if I owned a house in a postcode I don’t even know. As soon as I said I wasn't the homeowner, they just hung up on me. Proper cold call that was.

There was a pause on the phone before a lady with an English accent asked if I was (my name). I told her no since I’ve already been pestered with like four random calls today, and I’m totally over it. So I just said no, ended the call, and blocked the number.

Got a call from this number, but all I got was a recorded message. At first I couldn’t really make out what it was, but then it mentioned checking if I was eligible for some kind of government aid. They said one of their “advisors” would ring me back soon. I’m pretty sure it’s dodgy though, so I won’t be picking up if they call again. Feels like a scam to me.
