I received a rather dubious phone call earlier, purportedly from BT, warning me that my internet would be cut off within the next 24 hours. For one, the number didn’t belong to BT, and to top it all off, we're not even their customers! Upon pressing the caller for further information, he suddenly switched his story, claiming instead to be from Sky. The chap, who had an Asian accent, became quite defensive when I challenged his initial claim regarding BT and ultimately hung up in a huff. Quite the odd encounter, don’t you think?
